Cool Roots is designed for Black people with melanin-rich skin and textured hair, particularly where the scalp is exposed through braids, locs, partings, short styles or thinning hair. It’s also designed for people with closely shaved or bald scalps who want easy, everyday scalp sun protection.

Your scalp is skin too. Areas exposed through partings, braids, locs, short styles, thinning hair or baldness can be exposed to UV radiation. Cool Roots is designed to make protecting those exposed areas easier, without compromising your hair or style.
